Residents at Westerham Place Care Home in Kent, can now “dream by the fire” having created their own winter wonderland. To get into the Christmas spirit, their recent craft activity sessions have taken on a more festive feel.
Residents have been working away on Christmas trees, baubles and presents for the Westerham Place Christmas fireplace. The display would not have been complete without the star of the show, Misty the home’s resident cat. So residents have made sure that Misty is right in the centre, curled up by the roaring fire.
The Christmas fireplace has become a focal point for the home’s Christmas decorations and is now ready for the arrival of Santa in a few weeks’ time.
