Here is the second in our series of video updates from Featherton House. The ‘Featherton House Cares’ video series is designed to help you get to know our beautiful care home. We also want to use our expert knowledge to help you with finding the right care.
Although we have been lucky to experience the first easing of visiting restrictions through our Safe Outside Visits, it is still not possible for visitors to enter our home. These videos will virtually invite you in to discover our welcoming family environment, characterful building, and excellent care.
In this episode, you will see the role that technology has played in keeping our residents both in touch with their loved ones and entertained. During the lockdown period, it is not only relatives that have been unable to visit, we have missed our fabulous local groups and entertainers too. The Featherton House residents thoroughly enjoy their talks and performances, so we have had to think outside of the box to make sure they can still enjoy them during this period. This video will show how we have achieved this and kept everyone entertained.
Finding the right care can be confusing, especially if you’re doing this for the first time. There are many different types of services offered by care homes but what do they mean? Our interim home manager Agi Rygala will use her expert knowledge to guide you through the main types of care services and what they all mean.
Over the last two years, we have invested considerably in improving the facilities in our historic home. In this video, we will share some of the improvements we have made to compliment the striking appearance of the front of our building. The project turned out to be a little more ‘in-depth’ than we had imagined! But it has improved both the appearance of and the access to Featherton House.
