Residents at Featherton House Care Home enjoyed a lively morning of music and nostalgia as talented entertainer Marak performed a selection of classic love songs in the run up to Valentine’s Day.
The home was filled with familiar melodies as residents sang along, tapped their feet and shared smiles throughout the performance. From timeless romantic favourites to upbeat singalong numbers, the session created a warm and uplifting atmosphere.
Music plays a regular part in the home’s activities programme, with live entertainment often helping to spark memories and encourage social connection.
The Valentine’s-themed performance prompted residents to reminisce about their own love stories, dances from years gone by and favourite songs shared with partners and family members. Staff said it was lovely to see so many people joining in, with the lounge full of singing and laughter.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, there was certainly love in the air at Featherton House, and Marak’s performance ensured the day was filled with music, memories and plenty of smiles.
